Growing up in Adelaide, South Australia, she studied oenology at the University. She fell in love with travelling and worked vintages in Burgundy, New Zealand, Mendoza, Corbières and Stellenbosch. She first visited Mt Etna in 2005, searching for volcanic gems to drink, working at Passopisciaro for years before setting up Vino di Anna with her husband Eric Narioo and purchasing their first vineyard in 2010. All farmed biodynamically, the soil is black, fertile and rich in minerals.
