Saska Van Der Horst worked in London as a Sommelier for several years before studying wine with a 2 year degree in Burgundy. Interning with famous growers for years she eventually found vineyards in 2013. 4.5 hectares in size harvouring eight vine plots providing a rich diversity of terroir and soils including schist, slate, marl and gneiss granite. Saska uses natural and organic winemaking methods as well as respecting age-old traditions of hand-harvesting with natural fermentation occuring due to indigenous yeast.
