Started in 2002 by Dani Sanchez and siblings Maria and Fernando Barrena when they took over an abandoned cooperative building in the village of Carcastillo, located at the edge of the protected Natural Park Bardenas Reales. At the time they only could renovate one convrete tank in order to vinify all the grapes but after years and years of work the building is now fully operational. Truly committed to biodiversity, they plant different species of indigenous vegetation, aromatic plants, shrubs and fruit trees. In the cellar they only use native yeasts, no additives or corrections and only a small amount of sulphur at bottling.
