La Vie On Y Est
A viognier from 30 year old vines and clay and limestone soils. Michèle takes risks bottling the old-vine fruit with such little sulfur and without fining of filtering to get a true expression of the fruit. Giving balanced yellow fruit, white flowers and clean acidity.
Michèle Aubrey-Laurent, a former nurse, now treats her vines with the same care and passion she practised in her past profession. Bottling her first vintage with her husband in 1990, in the southern Rhône, in the town of Montbrison-sur-Lez. Today, working 26 hectares with her son Maxime François, they farm both young and old vines, employing organic and biodynamic practices.
