A juicy and light but grippy Serbian orange wine, lovely minerality and savoury notes. 4 days of skin contact. The juice ferments and ages in 500 ltr old Hungarian oak for 8 months.

Oszkár Maurer 

Oszkàr a 4th generation winemaker, cultivates 15 ha of land, worked with horses in Szerèmsèg and Szabadka in Serbia. The vines are very old and in general, he focuses on indigenous grapes like Furmint, Bakator, Kövidinka, Szerèmi Zöld, Olaszrizling and Mèzes Fehèr. The region surrounded by the Fruska Gora Mountain with 500 million years old formations made up of volcanic bedrock and covered with marine sediment. The region allows wines with gripping acidity and minerality. Oszkàr doesn’t use any chemicals on the vineyard or in his cellar, he only adds a touch of sulphur before bottling.
