The first Burgundian domaine to be organically farmed in the early 50s. Jacqueline Broux and Jean-Gerard Guillot took over in 1978 and saw the vineyard certified in 1991. Jean-Gerard was a winemaker in Meursault, which has influenced the very controlled oak ageing which happens at the Domaine today. Now ran by brothers Emmanuel and Patrice Guillot the vineyard has never been treated with any herbicides or synthetic preparations.
