Farming 50 hectares, Christophe Daviau is dedicated to the variety in his soils/ Committed to farming the 50 hectares organicly since 1996 and following that with biodynamic practices, Christophe had 25 years of holistic agriculture under his belt before his son Antoine pursued Demeter certification in 2020. In November 2005 France discussed the safety warnings winemakers would now have to be printing on labels. Initially Christophe was frustrated at his country's bureaucracy, he quickly counted himself as part of the problem: "We'd been making too many full bodied, higher alcohol wines. The French had forgotten how to drink Vin de Soif. I had to start making light bodied wines!"
