Indigenous hungarian white blend that is very vibrant with tropical fruit and pear flavours.
Founded in 2011 with third of a hectare on the south slope of Szent György-hegy on the northwest side of the lake Balaton. István and Klaudia Bencze fell in love with the untouched nature they had found there. One of their priorities has been to rediscover old Hungarian grape varieties and express the volcanic terroir of the region. Now with 18 hectares of vineyards and working with as little intervention as possible they let the wines ferment spontaneously mainly in amphoras and avoid any additives. István believes that the most essential moment is the picking time. It often happens that a wine is a result of five different harvest dates in order to achieve the desired balance.
